Marta graciously provided a 'Final Viewbook Insert 2021.pdf' they created that is intended to be used by high school counsellors and provided to students along with their preferred university view book (UBC Digital View Book). The intention is that the student will benefit from what the university view book has to offer and the additional insert provides some basic information about how to apply and where to go if you have questions.
April 2022: Technology for Living has launched an important new initiative! The Youth Assistive Technology (YAT) project promotes independence by providing Assistive Technologies and Home Automation solutions to youth ages 12-18 with limited mobility in British Columbia.

2020 COVID-19 Update: The Ministry of Education has partnered with inclusive education advocate and storyteller Shelley Moore on a new video series to better support students with disabilities learning at home during the COVID-19 pandemic. Released every Tuesday and Thursday, these short videos include strategies for parents to help keep their kids connected and engaged with their learning during these extraordinary times.
